FirePitz Group is proud to announce that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Lew Jia Jiun (JJ), has been recognised as one of the recipients of the prestigious 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs 2025 (100MIYE 2025) award.

The recognition was presented during the 10th Anniversary of the 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs Awards Ceremony, held on 20 December 2025 at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. Organised by Entrepreneur Insight magazine, the annual awards honour exceptional young business leaders who have demonstrated outstanding entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and contribution to their respective industries. This year, the award recipients were selected from more than 1,300 nominations nationwide.

For JJ, the recognition represents more than a personal achievement. It reflects the growth of FirePitz Group and the collective efforts of a team committed to elevating hospitality standards and creating meaningful dining experiences for guests.

JJ's philosophy was shaped early in his culinary journey, where he learned that guests rarely remember only what they eat. Instead, they remember how they feel. That belief became the foundation of his approach to hospitality, focusing on authenticity, consistency, and creating memorable experiences that bring people together.

Prior to establishing FirePitz, JJ trained at Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay in Singapore, gaining valuable exposure to world-class culinary standards, operational discipline, and service excellence. Inspired by the experience, he returned to Malaysia with a vision to create a restaurant concept that combines culinary craftsmanship with heartfelt hospitality.

In 2021, he founded FirePitz in Horizon Hills, Johor. Introducing an open-flame dining concept to the local market came with significant challenges, from navigating operational complexities to building customer awareness. However, through perseverance and continuous improvement, FirePitz has grown into one of Johor's recognised destinations for premium steak and open-flame dining.

Today, FirePitz Restaurant is known for its dedication to quality ingredients, meticulous preparation, and genuine hospitality. The brand continues to attract diners seeking not only exceptional food but also meaningful experiences shared with family, friends, and loved ones.
